Designers

Born 1952 in Sweden. I have worked as a freelance designer since 1991, mostly with contemporary furniture design but also as an interior designer specialising in office environments.

Apart from my regular assignments, I also develope a programme called "Dan Ihreborn Private Collection", which contains unique design objects and personal ideas. I do so simply for the joy and excitement it creates and as a means of generating new experiences in the field of  contemporary design.
For me, sofas and easy-chairs should give a simple and light impression, be resilient, even if it has got powerful volume. It should of course  also be really comfortable and easy to care, but above all, it´s design must last longer than ordinary trends.
Therefore I strive for more personality and care of details in every product that I create, and  hope that they will bring joy to it´s owners for many years to come.
